Leader vs Manager

I can Google all I want for this question, but I am trying to find my own definition, in myself.

This metaphor seems to be a good start

Management is concerned with getting up a ladder in the most effective and most efficient manner.
Leadership is making certain the ladder is on the right wall.

as well as
Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.
